Project Scope
The renewal of roofs to part of the Tudor section of the palace involved inspection and investigation as the work proceeded to ascertain the extent of necessary structural repair. Much of the roof was sheet lead work to dormers and flats requiring a high level of skill to replicate the quality of the original work. Selection of an appropriate contractor was essential.

CHP provided full quantity surveying services including producing initial estimates, cost plan, pricing schedules, tender documents and carrying out tender evaluation, cost management and settlement of final account. Provision was made for the risk of scope increase as areas of existing roof were opened up for renewal and on completion the final account for all works was within budget
