Having come from a background mainly in consultancy, Terry became a partner of CHP in 1990. His wide-ranging project experience covers most sectors of building development and refurbishment, with particular emphasis on private development, high quality residential commissions, ecclesiastical work and buildings of historic importance.
As a highly respected professional, Terry has fulfilled the roles of employer’s agent, project manager, contract administrator and quantity surveyor on a variety of schemes. He has also worked on behalf of funding banks, monitoring work in progress and providing due diligence services.
Not least among Terry’s skills are a thorough knowledge of construction costs and market conditions affecting tender prices and because of this, Terry has gained an enviable reputation in the industry for producing reliable cost plans, project appraisals and feasibility studies.
Terry uses his strong communication and interpersonal abilities to bring people together as a team. Whilst promoting technical excellence, he believes that personal contact at partner level is an essential element of CHP’s service.
